I know. Minneapolis/St Paul is just awful for that. Engineers would NEVER design like this on their own.

I doubt the Civil Engineers are really behind it...that's called "engineering" for future light rail referendums.*wink *wink

Yes I'm cynical...but would you honestly put it past some of these do gooders?

No doubt Civil Engineers have to deal with a lot of legacy issues, but what confounds me the most driving city highways is having to constantly be changing lanes to stay on the same road.
