There has been any number of medical studies done that strongly link the condition of one's mouth to the condition of one's heart.

It is an excellent example that proves my point: you cannot afford to give everyone dental care in an effort to prevent heart disease.

We can't afford not to........its one of the reasons why the cost of medical care is so high in this country. I am prone to gingivitis and know what it does to one's body when not treated. It also the major reason for tooth loss.

It would be an insanely expensive way of going after heart disease.

We can afford it once we reduce defense spending and allow the tax cuts to the rich to expire. In addition, Obama is an innovative president with considerable positive energy. I expect industry to grow significantly under his tenure and that will increase revenues to the gov't.

It is for this reason we don't pay for full body scans. Sure, you might detect things earlier but it is totally not cost effective.

That makes no sense. Seriously, you need to think about what you're posting.

This isn't a matter of knowing or not knowing about the subject matter. It is just common sense. Anyone who passed 7th grade math can figure this out.

I have more common sense than I know what to do with and you are not making sense.
