"I don't really think he's given up on that agenda." Based on what, exactly? His track record since being elected to the state legislature has been consistently with what he is pushing now. So a mixed systems does appear to be his agenda. "On a somewhat related note, lots of seniors are scared that Obama is going to get rid of Medicare Advantage, i.e. the "private" part of Medicare." Of course they are. Wingnuts have been lying to them about it.
