" They disappeared as fast as they appeared, replaced by the 'angry mob'. "

Pretty much. According to polls, it looks like there is considerable overlap between the Birthers and those who believe there are death panels in the various bills. Like probably 100%. Which isn't a huge surprise I have to admit...

Its four guys (Begala, Carville, Stephanopoulos, Rahmbo) having a phone conversation every morning and deciding what the MSM and liberal pundits will say that day. One day it will be hate Rush, then birthers, then angry mob, then evil-mongers, then villainous insurance companies .....

I have to say that even the best of the Rs don't tell the truth. Tonite, AC360 had on D. Frum and Gergin. Naturally, they were talking about health care. D. Frum is one of the more reasonable conservative pundits. In any case, he was talking about the public option and said that its DOA; that only about 1/5 of the Dems are liberal and want it. Huh? Fortunately, Gergin jumped in and said that the majority of Dems wanted the public option with only a few of the more moderate Dems who did not. Lying must be second nature to these people.
