This is the difference between you and me. I've SEEN private insurance deny payments for treatments that could have saved lives, even now. Without gov't oversight, this will only get worse.

I, of course, have seen private insurance deny payments, too. But there is a facility for appealing those decisions outside the insurance company.

There is no such facility for Medicare claims.
