Because it's been established that tax cuts spur economic activity, resulting in the government collecting more taxes.

Governments are parasites.

The economy is the lifeblood of any country

Parasites that suck too much blood from their host make the host sick which can eventually kill the host.

If the host dies, so does the parasite.

If the parasite doesn't get greedy, the host can bring the parasite on for a long ride.

This is why taxing less is beneficial for both the people AND the government.
