"While I agree in general with your sentiment, I cannot recall a more egregious lie, repeated with more fervor by top party officials and spokespersons, than the "death panel" lie." I agree it is a lie. I think there has been a lot of Republican push back against use of that term. "BTW, global warming is a fact. The debate is over whether or not humans have contributed to it and/or can do anything to alleviate it." I agree that there has been or was a warming trend. I agree the debate is as you say. In my mind I always associate the "man made" implication as an inherent part of the term GW. Bob
