It will only "destroy the option" if employers destroy it. People will have exactly the same kind of freedom they now w/r/t their health plan. If their employer carries it, they can choose it or opt out to pay for one on their own. Sam - you if anyone on this board are better than the above. Employers will do whatever is best economically for them. If it is cheaper for them to do the public option they will do it. The destruction will be superficially caused by the employer but in reality done by the public option. C'mon - please.
