No one....except for dumb clucks like Ted et al. could reasonably believe that we are going to cover an alleged 47 million people who are not covered now on the taxpayer's dime while reducing costs and improving quality of care. Its simply not going to happen......

The deficit will explode. The quality of care will decline. There will be shortages of doctors and nurse. Costs will not decrease.

That's not what I asked. Obama is not saying the gov't will take over the health industry but rather provide an alternative to private industry. Yet, you say the fears of a gov't takeover are real. Why?
