Technically it's not the formal Republican leadership repeating those lies - McConnell, Boehner, Steele et al. I want to be very careful only to slam those who have made and repeated the despicable lies.

Since some of those are competing to be future leaders of the party, however, your point is true up to a point.

My main issue with the core values of the official Republican leadership is that they are a do nothing party at a time when the nation faces major problems - on the economy, healthcare, immigration, environment, all kinds of issues. They have no program to govern except to take power back so nothing can be done, like it was under the last two Republican presidential eras.

Somewhat peripherally, that is what drives me nuts about the "media bias" wingers are always whining about. The dreaded MSM does the "both sides" thing all the time, but it's never enough for the side incessantly pumping out all the crap , they have to have their own "unbiased" sources like Fox News and Limbaugh. It's a joke.
