Until Obama and the Dems realize the Rs are like a cornered animal on whom you can never turn your back, they will get surprised every time by the Rs viciousness. I think they were also surprised by the Dem support of a public option. You mean in the last week.....if so, yeah. The Rs always underestimate the strength of the Dems and their position. They see internal disagreement as a lack of power when in fact, it leads to greater power.....eventually.
