Both of these claims are bullshit...i can tell you that from recent first hand experience. You are not going to argue the merits of private vs public insurance on these bases. There are problems of similar or dissimilar nature on both sides. In a complex system one tries to achieve a balance between simple and too simple, where fraud is then a byproduct...something you have complained about as well.

Sure Inode, thanks for asking. Dealing with one system instead of 75 systems is easier because it's repetitive and your employees gain experience and knowledge.
