Hi Glenn

Without question I did get satisfaction from the family research------I now have one-side of the English/Wales/Belgium family back to the early 1700's.

In that quest, I communicated worldwide with people----as we attempted to trace the movement of our seafaring ancestors.

In England, finally hit gold with Brian Moseley's Plymouth site------Brian and I communicated for about 3 months and finally put the iceing on the cake for 1700.

During this time of experimentation on the internet, I learned how to and built two web pages one on Ancestors and the other on learning piano and preparing for performance.

Last fall, I published recipes and wrote about the election on Trionde but didn't stay long, felt like I was giving away time and information that could be utilized in another way. They do pay for hits on your site as they use your writing to attract advertisers-----literally pay 'pennies'.

And, of course there is the National Poetry site----wrote poetry for about 7 years that is copyrighted automatically. This is great------as I now have experience as a published poet and can do my own book-------maybe some day.

Regarding SI----yes we do share a lot and do so voluntarily.
I came upon SI when I was looking for a good site on stocks----and of course found it----never expecting the political.

As a volunteer writer, this has been like a college education without the diploma.

Rambling a bit-----thanks for the interesting article.
