Uh...actually, you had a change of heart when Palin came into the picture. You thought McCain was going to pull it out of the crapper.

I did, for a short time, think he might have a shot with Palin. But for the most part, I believed it was a huge uphill climb for McCain.

McCain just wasn't a good speaker. Of course, now we know, being a news anchor and reading from a teleprompter isn't sufficient to be able to handle the job.
