I don't recall ever posting about Medicare not paying providers enough. Its true, certainly, I just haven't used it as an argument before. I note that you don't contest my assertion that single payer won't control costs since: 1) medicare is single payer, 2) pays most end of life costs, and 3) hasn't controlled costs. Thanks, I guess we can accept this as an indisputable argument. ------------------------- BTW there are things that will control costs. Namely rationing by an "independent board" "outside of normal political channels", precisely what Obama has called for on several occasions.
