They generally have no problems with government subsidies or aid to going concerns (peanut farmers, ethanol makers, cheese producers, dairy farmers, giving Insurance Companies a huge bonanza by structuring Medicare so that purchases of "Supplementals" is required, huge tax write offs to the oil & gas industry); but let the Government try to give one durned nickle to some down and outer and you have transgressed on the Republican way of life--and that's the cotton pickin truth--more or less. LOL - the list of gift recipients sounds to me like a list of who's who in the Dem welfare line. Ethanol - show me anyone but McCain who is not a sellout to the farm lobby. Peanut Farmers - who is the most famous one of those? Dairy - oh wow - think Wisconsin and the farm lobby - who all is sold out to them? Medicare - geeze - I thought that was a great program. Perish the thought that it is not 100% for toe nails! (Do you know that Canadians have supplemental insurance - yeah - the magic Canadian plan!) Hey - you forgot the Trial Lawyers - oops - you know who is sold out to them. Oh what about the sugar rip off? Amazing - absolutely amazing - the home team does no wrong. The other is all evil. What a beautiful post you made. I could not ask for a better illustration of my points. I despair!
