I suppose the American public have become suspicious of what the Govt. tells them after their experience of being lied to on the WMD issue. And then when some of these folks received unsolicited emails from the WH, they feared they were being tracked particularly after they found out that they were being eavesdropped. The paranoia is understandable.

That is a ludicrous stereotype of your opposition. You are right. I am not going to pursue your line of argument. It is without merit with regards to adding to civil discourse. It is however very illustrious of your mind.
