Meathead (I really hesitate to call you that ;-), add to your GOOD list software applications requiring higher-end hardware. Add to your BAD list lack of innovative software requiring higher-end technology. As I understand it, harware innovations breeds software requiring that hardware. But in the most recent CPU development cycle we haven't seen these applications, and that's what has been hurting Intel. Until we have a reason to buy Pentium II's all of the box-makers will be constrained to some extent. If that "killer" application is released the immediate growth rates of CPQ and DELL could really take off. Do have any thoughts along these lines?

Regards,

Paul

I don't need that many fancy reasons to convince myself to hold. I just need one reason: Looking at the five years charts on the blue chip technology companys such as DELL, CPQ, INTC, CSCO and MSFT, then I know I should hold and ignore all other noises.
