I appreciate that, and I am deeply disappointed in others here when they lower themselves to that level. Most of the time, reading the exchanges on this thread is a real pleasure for me.

But others, like this morning, I become a preschool teacher trying to get the kiddies to behave. I should never have to do that with supposed "grownups".

Inevitably, however, some have to be reminded to behave now and then.

BTW, they are trimming the midyear deficit forecast, not increasing it as you believed. I don't recall what numbers you were expecting. Still a frightening number but necessary with the slowdown elsewhere.

Considering the responses to some of your more thoughtful posts, I think you've done well, Bob.

Seems like some of the respondents just can't pull themselves away from derisive, and partisan retorts.

I too, would like to see the centrists come forward.
