Investing in a downtrend is a hard business, one should not
expect to buy THE bottom. In fact, you should expect new lows.
However, fundamentals are there for a spike, by winter. Also,
futures priced that.

Sorry, no pain no gain. If NG is going to 2-s, it won't stay
there long. As for how long it will take, who knows. Accumulate.

Some respectful TA folks been saying the bottom should be $2.91. Gas
hit $2.94 today. If they are right, fireworx are about to begin.
Besides, Opex needs $12 at least for UNG.

NG, the significant maturities will perhaps be stuck at $4+ but the off season futures (like the current month) could go to literally zero, if there was no demand at all. I only see that this contango is way steeper than it was for crude, earlier this year when the expiring contract would trade down to low $30 (and the spread to the next month over $8) but similar mechanics.
