As for the street reaction IMO that would be positive. WHY? The market always anticipates 6 months from now. Ed gone and 1000 layoffs are worth a lot in restoring confidence to investors.

I always thought SGI had problem hiring A-level talent becouse of the C-level top management in place. SGI board needs to look for a new CEO with Dave House CEO of BAY as model. It's an attractive job with lot's of candidates. They should look for a visionary leader with marketing/sales background. Another option for the board is to find potential buyers. But one thing is for sure I RESPECT this board for what they did. Excellent move!

Agree 'lame duck' is bad for stock. Stockholders want a name
before risk, ah, la, ATT. So many buying opportunities I'm totally
bought out, like most of America!
