You're on the right track brotha or sister "view".
Go to the MB - Mother Board....that's where it will happen.

But if your heading to the MB....might as well send the DVx?
Ziva to the addon boards, DVx to the mother boards.

Make sense?

The cost of a ZiVA chip is LOWER than the cost of an advanced graphics chip. But computers need some type of graphics chip, so you still need to buy one to put on the card with ZiVA. The BOM for a ZiVA card is about $10 or $20 more than a Chromatic card, but you free up an $1,800 MMX 300mhz chip to do every thing else.

MPEG on the mother board? I don't know, but not next year.

ZiVA's current ASP is just over $30.

If ZiVA would integrate 2D/3D graphics, it's a no brainer.
