although i would never want to market time, i do think selling some tech issue ie.cisco and intc at this time is wise. asian issues will undoubtedly affect earnings going forward and in tech sector earnings are everything. can't help but feel that for next several quarters the risk reward is extremely high. financials, ie. insurers with limited asian exposure seem safe..i.e.conseco. certainly would look to re-enter and at substantially on any significant downdraft.

dougjn--- INTC will probably hit the 70s with no problem,, I do not think they will stay there long. 80s and up-- just not to 100 real quick. They make more sense than DELL and CPQ at this point I think. Looking at HWP as making even more sense though. You are correct-- look for the DOW in the 7500-8000 range. The NAS will be even more volatile. June of 98 we may be looking to a 9K DOW if the economy remains strong. Actually I believe we may be looking at some of the greatest bargains we will see in the next decade-- even if/when the dead cat stops it's bounce.
