To be more specific: Today, I can take my 2008 cash USD and buy more of the stock market (even with the current rally), MORE GOLD (although not a lot more), more oil, more natural gas, and more real estate than I could before the 2008 "crash" started in August. If you don't believe me look at the values then and now. While some of the asset classes (gold in particular) have held up better than others, they've all become cheaper in USD!!! When the 10 year Treasury breaks 4% yield in a convincing way, THEN is the time to move to gold. Until then there's a real chance I can buy my gold more cheaply!
