It's frustrating to hear that longevity in countries with socialized medicine is higher than the US, I understand.

A detailed answer would include:

Limiting access to branded drugs that offer no benefit over generics.

Decreasing end of life care by improving patients ability to make those decisions ahead of time with their physician.

Emphasizing preventative care.

Decreasing payments to subspecialists.

Stopping payments for expensive interventions without clear evidence for efficacy.

Going to an electronic health record.

Rewarding nl BMI's.

I believe some of the above are in the current plan.

I suspect that if we get a public health care that in time our longevitity will surpass those of European countries.

Does anyone have an opinion as to whether Archie is adding to the discussion? Or is Archie merely waisting bandwidth?

"You are wasting my time."

I have a button that will prevent that for a while. Nobody has had a time out from this subject for almost a year.

Everyone's input is welcome.
