"There's something about August going into September where everybody in Washington gets all wee-wee'd up," Mr. Obama said, a term he hasn't used publicly before. "I don't know what it is, but that's what's happening. Instead of being preoccupied with the polls and the pundits and the cable chatter, you guys just kept on working."

this is a great speaker ??? bring back Bush

STUNNING POLL NUMBER!! 51% of Colorodoans now Oppose Obama Care

Colorado going Blue, clearly now a One-Election Cycle aberration

Public Policy Polling (PPP), is vastly becomming one of the most respected of polling firms, up there with Zogby and Rasmussen. They reported yesterday that Obama is tanking in the State of Colorado. He stands at just 47% approvals overall.

Says PPP's analysis:

Obama's approval rating in Colorado is surprisingly low
given his victory with 54% of the vote in the state last fall.
Polling released by Gallup last week also showed Obama's
popularity lagging many other states where he did not do as
well at the ballot box.

But it's his Health Care plan that is particularly unpopular in this critical Western State. Continuing:

Obama's health care plan is not popular with voters in the
state. 51% of them say they are opposed to it with just 38% in
support. There is a big drop among Democrats from Obama's
overall approval to support for his health care plans.

Q2 Do you support or oppose President Obama's
health care plan, or do you not have an
opinion? If you support it, press 1. If you
oppose it, press 2. If you don't have an opinion,
press 3.
Support ....................................... 38%
Oppose ........................................ 51%
No Opinion .................................... 11%
