Hi Addi, investing is about pain and patience...and I think you implied that in your previous statements...by the way do you know what the Asian markets are doing this evening?

Addi,

When I read your response, I was taken aback. The only word describing MSFTs action that came to mind was "egotistical". I double-checked the dictionary and it was the right word.

Then I started thinking about your comment "new brilliant tactic", and it was clear that this is marketing. Microsoft is really a marketing operation. All of their ideas and products really come from other companies, but they have been tweaked and stamped with the MSFT logo. It's like McDonald's. The products really aren't very good, but they are very consistent. McDonald's is synonomous with fast food (not the best food) and Microsoft is synonomous with software (not the best software).

I guess that Microsoft is very good at extracting money from the masses by selling their "adequate" consistent software. I think this strategy will keep them in some form of information/technology business for a long time (along with their mean and nasty streak).

Thanks!

Jeff
