SKF/FAZ were on my list to have a look at. All very interesting. Not to mention tempting.

It doesn't seem as though the world's financial system and hordes of underwater mortgagors are stable yet. My US$ are still getting exactly 0% interest at ASB Bank Ltd. That is NOT sustainable. There is a vast amount of money to be repaid to lenders and there is a huge interest rate increase required for deposits of money.

When interest rates for US$ go up, the borrowers are going to go down, in droves. US$ are hot potatoes and people are getting rid of them, buying anything and everything, even houses.

There is a lot of market clearing going on and it has been going for 2 years now. That's a lot of water under the bridge. But there's more to go and hopefully the foundations of the bridge are not being eroded.
