The employees of these firms are big Republican donors in years when Republicans are likely to win and equally big Democratic donors when Democrats are likely to win.

So I'd assume they're split 50/50.

Or perhaps they all donate their money to the party most likely to win regardless of their party affiliation.

The demographics of large companies I've worked for tend to closely resemble the general population. I can't imagine why that wouldn't be the case in most companies.
