Thread,
I hereby nominate Joe Costello the recently departed president & CEO of Cadence as the new SGI CEO.
He just left Cadence to become vice chair of an obscure company in technology for education. I'm sure he could be persuaded with the right package to take over SGI. The guy is AWSOME. He was just voted as the #1 CEO in Ameria by the CEO magazine. He took Cadence to #1 in EDA thru great marketing and positive leadership with a vision in dominating existing and defining new markets.

Any ideas as to How we could make the board aware of Joe Costello?

I doubt that Ed is in a real hurry to find a replacement. At least not as big a hurry as
stockholders would like him to find one.

You might be right but, per the article, he said that he would step down. Now the news is out in the media, the board will want him gone pronto. The big question is WHO replaces him.
