I have absolutely no idea who I would want for a candidate. I suspect our circumstances will drive the characteristics of the candidate that we do not yet envision. I do suspect it will be someone who has to deal with a financial crisis of some sort.

Same thing was said in the years that the following Presidents were elected. Just off top of my head

Kennedy, Reagan, Carter, Obama.
