I have administered large health programs. An insurance CEO gets about $12 million and up. The same government employee would get less than $200,000.

And I, and my colleagues, were every bit as capable and educated, as those in the private sector. And our programs ran very well and smoothly. We also had to account for every penny and justify all expenditures.

35% for insurance companies and 4% for public administration.


It has been shown that admin costs of Medicare versus private insurance are roughly the same.
