So what about Alaska's very well run government permanent fund? We have 35 billion in the fund, pay no state taxes at all and everyone in the state gets about $2,000 a year. Last year we got $3,200. Every man woman and child got a check for that amount. The income from our investments pay for all our government programs, with money left over which we usually put back into the principle of the fund. Our kids, grandkids and their grand kids, will never have to pay any state taxes because we liberals fought off the anti government right wingers in the 70's and established the Permanent Fund!! Google it!
