I was wondering about that. Amongst all the diverse targets of LaRouche's paranoid, grandiose expressions there are bound to be some that strike a chord with Elmat. I tried to see a consistent thread in LaRouche's political career: left, right, libertarian, authoritarian, Trotskyite, fascist, ... the only adjectives that seem to apply consistently are those that descibe his psychology, i.e. paranoid, opportunist, lying, manipulative. He is clearly intelligent, but rather bitter and twisted. What makes his case interesting is that on some issues he's closer to the truth than the mainstream media (which is, I suppose, damning with faint praise.)

"In three years time: The state will step back into the economy. Word 'du jour' Re-nationalization.

Governemnts will write off the debt mountain and nationalize banks and companies. Pensioners, young unemployed will rejoice.

Just wait and you will see!

LaRouche, the man, not the wife, is right in how he approach many issues. Meaning the way he look at things is correct.

Is he wrong is something? Yes, he is. He is wrong when he wants to lead and engage in politics. And in that arena he is a seating duck with all the guns pointing at him.

Usually men with his profile do well in business and do not wate his time persuading people of what he believes in.

Democracy, and democracy understood as local politics when a guy is profiled and chosen to be sold to the ignorant masses has no place for a man like LaRouuche.

He open his mouth and the masses leave the room. For the masses want to be manourvered. Given a easy way of conducting their lives and in return 'pays' the leader with their obeyance and walk the line the leadership put forth for them.

The game is played and is successful and anyone is happy and is ven sold as panacea for toher sto follow. There are people who wnat Africans to be democrats!!! mind you.

That until the Great Unwind reaches upon the crowds, politicians and their electorates alike. This is the today we are living. All the goody goody things and thier relationships start breaking down.

Because there us no mo money. The money is running away to where the growth is.
