Not really....that's the point people are making. If you are an individual, its hard to find an insurance company that will take you and if you have an pre existing condition or are in poor health or are a senior, it gets even harder.

At some point ted, it's going to hit you that democrats don't give a shit about you. You might start by asking what have they ever done for you?

Let's say you call up an auto insurance company to get collision insurance on that car you just wrecked....what's going to happen?

Granted, in the case of heath insurance, there does need to be a way for people with prior health issues to get some form of coverage....and there generally is. Most states have insurance pools, etc. Any way that it is done, however, it is going to cost somebody something...whether it's the individual, a class of individuals, or all of us. It's not going to be free.
