From looking at both charts it appears that not only are things getting much worse, they are getting much worse much more rapidly! Things should get really exciting when the boys get back from the beach.

Read the fine print under the chart U posted. It's all based on seasonally adjusted numbers.

John Williams work has shown seasonal adjustments have become one of the tools used to cook the books in FED and U.S. gov stats.

So, I'll stick with the graph and statements in my earlier post and let Mr Market be the judge of whether gold goes higher in coming weeks.
