Hi Brad, look at ABF/airborne freight.
it may have less exposure to asia. ABF
reported fantastic earnings yesterday.
predicted earnings were 1.11 and ABF reported.
1.87. the year before it earned .22 for the quarter.
the pe ratio is low.
also SYMC/symantec reported great earnings today.
predicted .32 earned .37 revenue up 27%.
last year earned .16.
good companies are still doing well.
good luck, ag

Hi Brad and all...

I'll be away for 5 days in Miami, leaving tomr...

I haven't a clue as to what the market is going to do near term...BUt i think it will be a lot higher by year end...

If we test the lows, buy the semi equip makers and NOW!!!

I love the OILS too, others here have a vast knowledge of this sector...I like RIG-NE-FLC-RDC etc ..

More importantly, I like KLIC-KLAC-AMAT BETTER>>>

I'm still adding to my large position in KLIC, DO YOU GET MY DRIFT...

I'll leave it at that for now...

Have a great next 5 days, see you all on Mon or Tues...

Be nimble, fast & loose, My Regards, Jerry

INDEX UPDATE
-------------------------

Right now the HongKong market is down 2.5%. In light of yesterday's 19% rise, this should be considered a non-event if it closes at these levels.

I mention this since believe many are still watching the HK market for some sort of direction.

Brad,

I just logged on this morning, I ate breakfast and saw that the futures were down to the max, I thought we were having another retracement as Tom explained that we might have. Also I heard Maria down talk CPQ and DELL, but both are holding on. I would be shocked to see CPQ at pre split prices here, which was 54? I think that was it.

I would like OJ's oil picks, if he has any insider tips too ~ggg~

Who do we see as market leaders? I cant see a flying sector that doesnt fall as fast as it flies... eg, The Airlines, Banks etc. I keep looking for a sweetheart and dont see it.

Thanks on the CPQ placement, got lucky I still hate getting bitten twice on commissions though...lol

Take care,

Electric
