Dr. Link,

The store in my area is located on Alpharetta St. Roswell, GA.. My friends who visit Checkers elsewhere in the Atlanta, GA. area are experiencing slow service as well. One of my friends said he's not going back even though he thinks the food is great. He said it took exactly 25 minutes from the time he got in line to the time he departed.

Let me tell you another problem I've seen happen at their stores. Because of the cut back in personnel they have closed one of the drive thru's. They put up a saw horse in the drive that says FOR FASTER SERVICE USE OTHER LINE. Well what happens is someone gets so frustrated with waiting he moves the saw horse to exit. After he exits newcomers then think the second drive thru line is open. After people wait at the menu board for 5 minutes and get no response they depart in anger. While this is happening several additional cars enter the closed line and they also leave in frustration.. I've watched a minimum of 14 cars leave during one of my lunch visits. Do you Checkers staff would do something like put the saw horse back . Nope they just let the customers leave. If their going to close one of the lines it needs to be clearly marked "CLOSED USE OTHER DRIVE THRU ONLY" It's mindboggling as a consumer to see these obvious problems go unresolved. Believe me the staff at Checkers could care less about customer satisfaction. To them less customers mean less work. The same day I mentioned about it taking me 25 minutes for service one of the customers said she tried to order a chicken sandwich and they said they they weren't serving chicken because it took to long to make and they were short help.
I've driven by Checkers in the past and on the main marque the sign was empty. One even said HELP WANTED.
What idiot manager wouldn't use the signage to lure customers in. When your driving down the street and you have 10 places to eat an attractive offer on a sign can make the difference.
Checkers management needs to resolves these shortfalls before it's too late..

RT

PS. I called corporate to voice my concerns and I got to talk to an answering machine. Never received a response. Hope you have better luck.

Dr. Link,

Did you ever make contact with Checkers management to voice our concerns? The Checkers I had complained about was advertizing for help on the main marquee.
I think that sign should be strictly used to advertize their products not a help wanted poster.
If their effeciency does not improve significantly they will never become profitable.
