My favorite is Scrooge McDuck

puesoccurrences.files.wordpress.com

en.wikipedia.org

z.about.com

Apocryphal saying attributed to him:

"Just remember boys, wealth is not all its quacked up to be."

<g!>.

Except for the saying, cant help being reminded of TJ... <bg!>

I preferred Gyro Gearloose, and Scrooge McDuck diving into his silo of money. There was a lot of Disney in Scrooge, apparently.

I'm with ElM on Readers Digest. I used to read anything with words [if it wasn't compulsory and wasn't poetry but even some of that got a look too, just in case there was something there]. Readers Digest was good to read too, along with cereal packages. The articles in Playboy were good quality too [once upon a time]. I read kilograms of Time.

That doesn't mean the reader just accepts what's written. The mind doing the reading is what counts, not what's written.

Snobs love to hate Readers Digest, Enid Blyton and lots of things.

Donald Duck/Uncle Scrooge/etc were the best [American version]
