If Monday Sept 14th isn't a beach day I'm going to check out Hotclub of Cowtown at the bar that's part jazz@ Lincoln Center. jalc.org If it is a beach day I'll be going to see a friend's Samba drum band on the beach in the Hamptons like I try to do every Monday evening until it gets cold out. It's a 90 minute drive each way but it's so much fun it's easily worth it. youtube.com youtube.com It sucks that they started cracking down on dogs on the beach there, it's my dog's favorite thing in the world but hopefully as it gets cooler out and less crowded the enforcement will ease up.
