Was it really dilutive ?

It might be interesting to remember that NGD acquired its interest in El Morro from its amalgamation with Metallica. I played the metallica warrants. When they became NGD warrants their exercise price was $3.40 for a NGD share.... they expired worthless. So this financing might be considered no more dilutive than the exercise of the warrants would have been. After all, Metallica was faced with the raising of that capital too.

I don't know why I had so much trouble finding this:

newgold.com

I was checking because I didn't understand, or remember, why if NGD owned 30% of the project they only had to come up with 9% of additional capital investment for El Morro.

Whether that's the reason for the stock issue or not, they sure have a lot of cash for SOMETHING.
