I do not understand why the White House wants to directly supervise the interrogation of terrorists. Are they insane? If we are hit again with another 9/11, this will be a political disaster for them. Can we expect to see terrorist suspects kicking back with a beer in the Rose Garden?


I agree. You'd think they would want some political distance just in case. I can only assume that the reality of needing to throw a sop to their seething left-wing base far outweighs the possibility (quite remote to them apparently) of our getting hit again.

Give Obama another week or two, and he will have another inside the White House unit calling the individual bullet shots the Military makes while doing their duty.

Even worse yet, he will have yet another Czar at the head who has no responsibility to the Congress.
