I think this is probably the typical tourist view of Vegas. If you spend a lot of time there, you find places that are really none of the above. Well, if you want to, you can. Some people go there for loud, garish and tacky.

Cheap (not really) thrills. Appeals to the mindless. Take the family for a hike in the woods. It will do everybody a lot more good.

We have some really close friends that were Orlando cops... the stories are amazing.

I used to hate Vegas. I don't gamble, and the whores are of low quality, disease-ridden junkies and overpriced. But, I've grown to like the place just for the spectacle. I like to watch the Dave-types with their fat wives schlepping up and down the strip. It's like going to the zoo..

It's a place that could only happen in America.
