Neither you nor I fall into the camp that sees the government as the source that can cure all of or our ills or the foundation of almost all of our problems. That isnt true for way too many people. There is a balance, and my viewpoint is that it looks entirely too likely that the pendulum is going to swing right through that balance to the other side of way too much government intrusion.

and no...I'm not talking about "death panels".
