Kemble:
Am glad to see you are doing a great of hanging on to Dell and
maintaining the faith. Dell will stand on its own feet and kick the
Dow over the moon. A $9 move today is equivalent to an $18 move last June, a $36 move one year ago.
We have been in the same situation several times, in 1995,
and last March when the whole market gets eaten alive.
Very well stated to call this action 'noise'
Yet company fundamentals are unchanged, sales, growth rates,
margins all looking great.
My BIL has money in about 5 mutual funds, up 15% for the year.
Dell up @ 320% for the year.

Am rather busy building, putting up roofing, fixing mower. Not so
much time for S.I.
Have developed a sudden distate for egg rolls, chop suey(gggggg Sig

Hi Kemble:
Keep in mind that if one were to be lucky enough to sell Dell at say $95, and the average cost had been $20 then the
profit is $75 and taxable at @ 31%. This means one does not start
to lose any money on the deal (by not selling)until Dell drops below @$75. My decision is still to hold... and it will not be known until perhaps a year whether a sell decision would have been correct, regardless of whether the stock goes up or down in the next three
weeks.
