One healthy 15 year old is too many.When I was in the MPH program at John Hopkins about 10 years ago the feeling was that it was not a question of if, but when such viruses would show up.This may not be as bad as it could be , but is a lot worse than you think.Take this one seriously

The AIDS virus is very unusual in that the cells it targets are the cells of the immune system itself - T cells. The weakened immune system leaves you vulnerable to all the diseases that T cells help to defend you against.
