<The high priests of science, the lab coat clerics are no different than a Holy Council of the Catholic Church. >

Sounds 'interesting', may have a shred of truth and all that, but is exponentially off the mark.

The whole basis of science is that through confirmed observations (facts) what is todays "dogma" is relegated to 'evolution of todays theory' and can be essentially discarded (albeit not without much argument while evidence piles up). EVERY scientist worth a nickle knows, even Einstein types, that their theory is "wrong"... or more correctly incomplete and will be updated in the future.... indeed that EVERY theory is in need of update!

The Holy Council and especially the Pope claimed devine knowledge and could (and did) deny truth despite confirmation of "facts" by many sources throughout history. Even today the official 'dogma' is that the Pope is infallible on the topic of God, etc.

There are dozens of obvious fallacies in church dogma, this is NOT true in Science. Dozens of awards and perhaps a Nobel prize awaits he/she who sheds light on such fallacies. :))

{and perhaps ex-communication! lol}

Politics for some is a religion as is a belief in global warming without an understanding of the science behind it.>>

>>The high priests of science, the lab coat clerics are no different than a Holy Council of the Catholic Church.>>

Koan: "That is simply not correct. Science is an open system and structured to change as facts change. Every belief is open to change.

And all theories have to pass tests and experimentation for confirmation which is then reviewed once again by the worlds scientific community.

Religion is dogma and a closed system. It is the word of god, and not subject to change, end of story. People have been killed and tortured all through history who challenged religions dogma e.g. Giordano Bruno who was burned alive at the stake!!

Koan: "We have gone beyond the ancient Greeks in logic."

"If I were to speak your kind of language, I would say that man's only moral commandment is: Thou shalt think. But a 'moral commandment' is a contradiction in terms. The moral is the chosen, not the forced; the understood, not the obeyed. The moral is the rational, and reason accepts no commandments." AYN RAND<<

Koan: "I believe Ayn Rand was wrong about everything and was a sociopath."
