Strange that Coburn is applauded for chiding his constituents for failing to do their job of helping her as a neighbor. Besides, he is assuming that these folks do not have any problems of their own and that they have all the energy, time and money to help her.

His "brains in my balls" approach is symptomatic of some of our elected leaders. They would rather spend our dollars to kill innocent Iraqis and help the remaining ones to enjoy democracy instead of using our own dollars to help us to enjoy good health.

I have not heard what the Govt. function needs to be from these folks. I see them vote in a government and immediately turn around to say that the Govt. they just voted in should get off our backs. After a tornado in America's heartland, I don't see Coburn and his types criticize the Govt. for providing disaster relief. Hey Sen. Coburn, why don't you think that during such times the Govt. should get out and let people help other people?
