Nice analogy! Here's a little more information on Jacob's male offspring. From Leah: Reuben (firstborn, but disinherited because of his affair with Bilhah, his father's concubine), Simeon, Levi (they murdered all males of a city to avenge their sister's pre-marital sexual encounter) Judah, Issachar and Zebulun. Fr. Rachel: Joseph and Benjamin (Joseph was sold into slavery by his brothers for 20 pieces of silver). Fr. Bilhah: (This is Rachel's handmaid, Jacob's concubine with whom Reuben had an affair.) Dan and Naphtali Fr. Zilpah: (This is Leah's handmaid) Gad and Asher Rachel died giving birth to Benjamin. Quite a family! Who said the Bible is boring? Paul Gunther
