Oh, we're not out of the woods. That's why it's GOOD that a lot of stimulus is "time release". Just before it's evident we've recovered, Bernanke will need to raise interest rates to forstall inflation - a move EVERYONE at the party will oppose.

Then, Obama will need to start cutting spending to reign in the deficit - NEVER popular. He'll start with our bloated military, which will have you wingnuts screaming like stuck pigs. But then, he'll move on to entitlements, which will have the "liberals" screaming as well. In his second term, he'll raise taxes across the board. Something no (R) has the political courage to do - cutting taxes is EASY.

I have faith in him. In eight years, he'll hand over a country in MUCH better shape than he received it - as is common for (D) presidents. If we get another one, we may make real progress as a nation.
